Kids Scallop Bedroom
Tackling a kids bedroom was lots of fun…..mostly because 1. we could generally use more color AND 2. it was for OUR kids. Seeing their little faces as they walked into their whimsical and happy room was priceless. We used Farrow and Ball’s Light Blue (or color match it to Ben Moore’ Imperial Gray) for our blue scallops. The white was Snowbound by Sherwin Williams.
We decorated with a knitted feeling white rug, two toddler beds, and flower & gingham patterns. Mixing patterns is our favorite and these are two of our favorites to mix. We allowed the flower bedspreads and the fun flags to bring in pops of colors that made it not feel matchy matchy. And our girls couldn’t resist picking out some mermaid stuffed animals at Target. :)
