Port Royal Renovation
It was so exciting to take this home and turn it into something beautiful! And truly that is our favorite parts of design work. It takes a space that uninspires and transforms it into a house that will foster family memories, experiences, and the feeling of “home.”
Home is the springboard of our lives as children. The place that feels safe and secure, and thus gives us the confidence to make big moves in our life. Home may not always be four walls, but a person or a community. But so often, it is tied to a concrete sense of space. And so knowing we are creating spaces that will bring joy to a family’s life is so rewarding.
At the Port Royal renovation, we had a 6 week turnaround to take this uninviting place and turn it into a retreat that felt cozy, spacious, and delivered style in a cost effective way.
